All our accommodations are furnished with fine antiques, but still boast courtesy phones with free calling in the US and Canada, digital cable TVs equipped with DVD players, internet ports, air conditioning, and individual climate control. Unlike other luxury inns, The Phineas Swann is very pet-friendly, and we look forward to making your next Vermont vacation special for both you and your pet.

Rooms in Main Inn
$89 to $249
The Red Room, pictured here, is the largest bedroom in the main house, and is painted a wonderful shade of burnt sienna red above the white beaded wainscoting on the walls. The Blue Room is Jay's favorite room; highlighted by a large bay window with window seat, it is the brightest room in the Inn. The Green Room is the darkest of the rooms, for those of you who like to sleep in late, as it faces away from the rising sun.
Carriage House Suites (2 units)
One Bedroom with Sitting Area: $99 to $249
Two Bedroom w/Living Room & Sleep Sofa: $119 to $299
One of two Carriage House Suites, The Bulldog Suite, shown here, is a large two-bedroom suite with two private bedrooms with doors, one queen and one twin, along with a separate living room with sofa, recliner, and gas log fireplace. The other suite—the Honeymoon Suite, is an enormous one room suite on the first floor of the Carriage House, and although it is just one room with private bath, its huge size makes it qualify as a suite and not just an ordinary guest room.
River House Suites (2 units)
$699 to $1,055 weekly
or $119 to $299 daily (2 day minimum)
This adorable lumber worker cottage is right on the Trout River, so if the sound of gently rushing water disturbs you, you may want to stay in a different room. This house has two separate self-service, one-bedroom apartments with private kitchens, Jacuzzi tubs, and cast iron gas log fireplaces. Breakfast included free on weekdays and for a small upcharge on busy weekends.

All rates include private bathrooms, full gourmet breakfast (except for the the River House on weekends), internet access in all rooms, in-room courtesy phones with toll-free calling anywhere in the US or Canada, in-room digital cable TV and DVD player with DVD library, endless coffee, spring water, or tea and all day fresh baked goodies. Please note: During our off seasons (October 18 through Thanksgiving and from “Last Snow” through May 30th) rates include a continental breakfast only.)
