First Floor River House Suite 
The first floor suite of our River House features a full kitchen and dining area, but the highlight of this unit is the large outdoor wood deck with a perfect view of the Trout River just a few feet away. Along the riverbank there are chairs and a small table for afternoon lounging. The unit is fully air-conditioned throughout with Wi-Fi access and a hard wired port in the front room area.
The living area features a navy blue leather recliner, full-size sleep sofa, cable TV with DVD player, a small antique secretary desk, a huge mirrored antique secretary desk, an antique pine dresser for clothes of anyone who might be using the sleeper, and an abundance of reading lights.
In addition, your bathroom includes a Jacuzzi tub and the front room includes a cast iron gas log fireplace.
The dining area has a large oval dining table with two leaves and 6 chairs, and the counter around the kitchen features 5 barstools for additional seating for those wishing to entertain. The kitchen has plenty of storage space, a large refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and plenty of cookware for your private use.
There is a grocery store within a 3 minute walk, so you can do all your own cooking!
The bedroom features a queen sized sleigh bed covered with Tommy Hilfiger paisley 600 thread count sheets, a cozy tan wing chair for reading your favorite book by the window with a view out to the river, a large closet with ironing board and iron to take care of your clothing, and plenty of hanging space for our guests. There are two antique nightstands, each different, on either side of the bed, a wonderful country antique dresser with Eastlake mirror, and the room has its own heating controls for those cold winter nights. This room is absolutely perfect for a couple that wants total privacy from the other guests on the sleep sofa, as it is the farthest room from the living area.
Although the River House and Carriage House guests usually find absolutely everything they might want in their suites, they are still encouraged to enjoy the public areas in the Main Inn and our riverbank along the Trout River. We always have fresh baked goodies, coffee, tea and spring water available in our Fireplace Room in the Main Inn, along with board games, puzzles and reading materials.
