River House Suites at The Phineas Swann
First Floor Suite
The first floor suite is slightly larger and features a more spacious kitchen and dining area. The highlight of this unit would be the large outdoor wood deck with a perfect view of the Trout River just a few feet away, and features a table with four chairs. Fully air-conditioned throughout with Internet access in the front room areas.

The living area features a navy blue leather recliner, full-size sleep sofa, cable TV with DVD player, a small antique secretary desk, a huge mirrored antique secretary desk, an antique pine dresser for clothes of the couple using the sleeper, along with an abundance of reading lights.
In addition, for your enjoyment, included are Jacuzzi tubs and cast iron gas log fireplaces in each of the River House luxury suites.
The kitchen features a large oval dining table with two leaves and 6 chairs, and the counter around the kitchen features 5 barstools for additional seating for entertaining. The kitchen has plenty of storage space, large refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and plenty of cookware for your private use.
There is a grocery store within a 3 minute walk, so you can do all your own cooking!
The bedroom for our first floor suite features a queen sized sleigh bed covered with Tommy Hilfiger paisley 600 thread count sheets, a cozy tan wing chair for reading your favorite book by the window with a view out to the river, a large closet with ironing board and iron to take care of your clothing, and plenty of hanging space for four guests. There are two antique nightstands, each different, on either side of the bed, a wonderful country antique dresser with Eastlake mirror, and the room has its own heating controls for those cold winter nights. This room is absolutely perfect for a couple that wants total privacy from the other guests on the sleep sofa, as it is the farthest room from the living area.
Second Floor Suite
The second floor unit, affectionately known as the "Hunting Suite" has several mounted deer heads, and a stuffed wild boar head in his own antique cradle who we call "Matilda". We get quite a few hunters in our area during the Fall, so the theme of this suite is a woodsy outdoors look. Being on the second floor affords you a better view of the river and mountains beyond, as well as a little more privacy outside your windows. Fully air-conditioned throughout.
This unit is filled with tons of antiques bought at local auctions, and is incredibly charming. The walls are paneled in knotty pine, and all the rooms have brand new carpeting. The living room has a brand new full size sleep sofa, large pine armoire with cable television and DVD player, room sized oriental rug, plenty of lighting, and tons of storage for your personal effects. Also included is a cast iron gas log fireplace.
In addition, there are two large end tables to match the pine cocktail table which has a lift up top for dining in front of the television. The dining area has a round table with seating for four, a bar counter seating four more, and a full sized kitchen with microwave, gas oven, full refrigerator/freezer, and all the dishware and cooking utensils you will need.
The bath is full sized and features a Jacuzzi tub with shower, plenty of storage space for your toiletries, along with an antique pine medicine chest, antique mahogany table covered with cotton towels, and a window looking towards the main inn.
The bedroom on our second floor features an antique full-sized iron bed, antique oriental rug on the floor, two large antique oak end tables with lamps, comfy reading chair with table and lamp, and an antique dresser painted in white. It also has a full-sized closet with plenty of shelving and hanging space for your wardrobe. Adjoining this room is a small reading nook with two rocking chairs and a bookcase filled to the brim with mysteries and romances to while away winter nights or summer afternoons.
The views from the deck are wonderful, and you
get a great panorama of the mountains after the leaves have fallen.
