'Two True' Vermont Elopement Package
True Love. True Luxury. Two True - If you're looking for a classic Elopement package for just the two of you, you'll love our 'Two True' Vermont Elopement Package. Designed for the couple that wants to get away for an intimate wedding in true elopment style but still wants the elegance of a wedding well done, this package includes everything you'll need while pampering you in the luxury of our 1880's inn. Our package includes: two nights in our Honeymoon Suite, wedding ceremony on our grounds, justice of the peace, bouquet/boutonniere, filing fees for the marriage certificate, champage and wedding cake for the two of you, flowers for your room, and chocolate-dipped strawberries. You'll say it's "Two Good to be True"
$1699.99 INCLUDING tax (a higher package rate of $1999.00 applies for Christmas Week, Presidents' Day Week, and Fall Foliage).
'Just the Ten of Us' Vermont Elopement Package
For couples who prefer an elegant yet intimate ceremony surrounded by only their closest family and friends, we offer our 'Just the Ten of Us' Vermont Elopement Package which includes a ceremony on our grounds, justice of the peace, bouquet/ boutonniere, filing fees for the marriage certificate, a wedding cake and champage reception for the couple and up to 8 guests, a mixed floral bouquet from a local organic cutting garden for your room, chocolate-dipped strawberries, and a two night rental of the Honeymoon Suite for $1999.99 INCLUDING tax (a higher package rate of $2499.00 applies for Christmas Week, Presidents' Day Week, and Fall Foliage).
Package is subject to room availability. Our photographer, Shawn Corrow of Cold Hollow Photography, offers photo packages starting at $450 payable to him and not a part of the package, depending on the time involved, and we can put you in touch with him once you finalize your dates.
For guests who would like to stay at the inn, we offer a 10% discount on the room rental rates when your party books the entire inn.
Let Our Village Host Your Wedding
You Bring the Couple - We'll Do the Rest!
For couples who prefer a grander affair, our all-inclusive "Let Our Village Host Your Wedding" event is ideal. Focusing on weddings for 15-50 guests, this wedding celebration provides everything you will want for your destination wedding in northern Vermont, including:
- The Vermont Marriage License, and Justice of the Peace fees
- Nine “Welcome Baskets” for guests staying at the Phineas Swann made up of locally made products
- Wedding Ceremony under our wedding arch in our gardens
- Flowers from a local florist who grows the flowers in her gardens. Flowers will be provided for the Wedding Ceremony (Bridal Bouquets, Boutonnieres, etc,), and the Garden Party Reception
- A delicious Wedding Cake made by our village cafe
- Three nights stay in our Honeymoon Suite for the wedding couple
- Full country Breakfast each morning for all guests staying at the Phineas Swann
- Wedding planning services from our experienced wedding planner and staff
Designed to offer you plenty of options (so you can choose those parts of your wedding celebration that you want while leaving out the aspects that you don't), our flexible wedding event can be customized to include:
- Rehearsal Dinner for up to 24 Guests, prepared and served at The Phineas Swann
- Garden Party 'Champagne Hour' hosted by The Phineas Swann in our gardens or in our Main Inn during winter
- Wedding Reception Dinner hosted under wedding tents among our extensive gardens or, depending on the number of guests, in our Main Inn

About our Wedding Planners and Wedding Vendors
When you plan your wedding reception at the Phineas Swann Bed and Breakfast Inn, we help you through all of the details to ensure your wedding day is as special as can be. We work with many top-notch wedding vendors who are known for their excellence, such as a wonderful baker in town who makes New York City-quality catered wedding cakes and a florist who creates floral arrangements from her own extensive flower gardens. We can even direct you to a wonderful local wedding dress designer - Tara Lynn Bridal of Sutton, VT - who makes eco-friendly, custom-designed gowns that let you express your personal style.
Renting the Entire Inn for Your Celebration
At the Phineas Swann, we take great pride in offering our guests (and yours!) the best hospitality experience possible. For this reason, when a couple books our "Let Our Village Host Your Wedding" event with a guest list of 25 or more people, we ask that the entire inn (9 rooms and suites) be rented by the wedding couple and their guests. This will allow us to devote all of our attention to your needs and the needs of your guests during your momentous occasion. It also ensures that you and your guests enjoy a private celebration at the inn.
Couples who reserve our "Just the Ten of Us" and "Two True" packages, or our "Let Our Village Host Your Wedding" event with fewer than 25 people, are not required to rent the entire inn. However, for the comfort of your guests (in the case of the "Just the Ten of Us" celebration), you may wish to do so. Full inn rentals, if available, merit a 10 percent discount on room rates with no black out dates.
