A. No - most couples begin by deciding on the service level of the core celebration on our "Customize Your Celebration" page, but you can just as easily start by adding a Rehearsal Dinner, or a Post Wedding Dinner. Every page of the wedding calculator tool has links at the bottom so you can easily move between sections.
Q. Am I booking my wedding when I use this wedding calculator too?
A. NO - this tool is designed so you can explore our event pricing in the privacy of your home. If you would like to book your wedding celebration with us, you must first contact the Innkeepers either by phone or through the "Contact the Innkeepers" section of the "My Wedding Plan" page. Only once you have discussed your wedding needs with the Innkeepers and have decided to make a firm plan, including choosing a date, is your wedding considered "booked".
Q. Does the Wedding Calculator work for your Elopement Packages?

Q. Can I choose only to have a Rehearsal Dinner or Reception Dinner?
A. No, the core component of "Let Our Village Host Your Wedding" is the wedding celebration, which must be included.
Q. Do I have to rent the entire inn if I book a wedding at the Phineas Swann?
A. At the Phineas Swann, we take great pride in offering our guests (and yours!) the best hospitality experience possible. For this reason, when a couple books our "Let Our Village Host Your Wedding" event (the event associated with this wedding calculator) and their total guest list is more than 25 people, we ask that the entire inn (9 rooms and suites) be rented by the wedding couple and their guests. This will allow us to devote all of our attention to your needs and the needs of your guests during your momentous occasion. It also ensures that you and your guests enjoy a private celebration at the inn. Full in rentals are not required for the smaller wedding celebrations, for example the "Let Our Village Host Your Wedding" with under 25 people, or our "Just the 10 of Us" and "Two True" elopement packages (described on our Vermont Weddings page).
