Inns Equal RomancePosted by Darren Drevik on Feb 7, 2020 in Letters from Vermont | 0 comments
There’s something uniquely romantic about a stay at a Vermont inn.
The chance for a couple to get away from the stresses and distractions of their daily lives, to escape to the solitude and beauty of the mountains is unique. Putting your feet up in your own private suite with a fireplace burning and snow falling outside the window is just the perfect setting for two people to reconnect.
We treasure the romantics that come to visit us year round. We do everything we can to make that experience even more special, whether it’s adding chocolate-covered strawberries, roses or a bottle of champagne to the room. We offer personal masseuses to aid in the relaxation effort, and starting this summer will have a full-service day spa on property to make your experience even more special.
We work hard to bring the romance to every couple that stays with us, and w’re so happy when those efforts are recognized and appreciated.
Today we learned we’ve been selected as one of the Nation’s Top 10 Best Romantic Inns by the website ILoveInns.com. We’re the only Vermont inn on the list, and checking it over, we have some pretty amazing company. This list includes:
- The Lamplight Inn, Lake Luzerne, New York
- Cedar Crest Lodge, Pleasonton, Kansas
- Glendeven Inn & Lodge, Little River, California
- Phineas Swann Inn & Spa, Montgomery Center, Vermont
- Sugar Magnolia Inn, Atlanta, Georgia
- Pettigru Place Bed & Breakfast, Greenville, South Carolina
- The Lakehouse at Ferry Point, Sanbornton, New Hampshire
- Devonfield Inn, Lee, Massachusetts
- Abbington Green, Asheville, North Carolina
- Sutherland House, Canandaigua, New York
We love what ILoveInns had to say about us. Emphasizing that we’re a romantic and dog-friendly Vermont inn, they were nice enough to write:
“You love each other, you also love your furry family members, so bring them along to this dog-friendly inn. Don’t have a dog of your own? Be sure to visit with Maple, the resident “Morale Officer and Director of Security.” Independent of the furry cuteness, the inn boasts luxurious amenities. Guest rooms offer a king or queen bed, jetted tub or dual couples shower, and a gas-log fireplace. The area features six covered bridges making the ideal backdrop for a romantic photo shoot or simply a reason to explore.“-ILoveInns.com
So if you love your significant other, love your dog, or — like us — love both, come consider a stay with us. We think you’ll fall in love with us too.
