“Most Charming Place to Stay In Vermont”
“My husband, and our two teen boys stayed at the Phineas B&B over labour day weekend and had a fabulous time. We stayed for 4 nights in one of the river suites, which VERY comfortably slept the 4 of us. The suite was fully stocked with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay, if choosing to bring in food, cook or eat out. We slept like babies listening to the sound of the river. The peacefulness of the property was such a change from the city and we really appreciated this gem. Breakfast each morning was fabulous. Darren and Lynne are the perfect hosts and ensure every little detail is taken to make sure each guest feels extra special.” – Jenn B., Trip Advisor
“A Beautiful Place and a Comfy Stay”
“This is the best B&B we have ever stayed, room is super clean and comfortable, we slept just like on my own bed. Location is great, a short drive to Jay Peak. Breakfast offers a wide range of options. Very relaxing weekend getaway.” – Sonya, Trip Advisor
“Top B&B at the Top of Vermont”
“Just spent 4 nights at the Phineas Swann. Breakfast is served in a bright and airy dining room. The table settings are elegant and plenty of fresh flowers are placed on each table to spread cheer. There is a different delicious hot entrée prepared every morning to tempt your taste buds. Yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, and freshly baked pastries are also available. The coffee is superior to most and I drank a lot of it. The staff are obviously “morning people” who love what they do. I don’t know if people really understand just how important this trait is, but I certainly appreciated it because each day began on a high note. I have stayed at many B&B’s through the years and I must say that I was impressed by the many kind gestures from the staff during my visit here. Call me “old school” but nice still matters to me… the Phineas Swann nailed it.” – Yuki, Trip Advisor
“All the charm and eclectic uniqueness of any successful and appealing B&B, but with the advantage of proprietors with a great backstory who actually love to serve their customers. The scenic beauty of the area is a bonus, of course. Don’t miss this one.” – Ted, Google
